I had the same issue as Jesus G. I got an ****** Guest Rewards card sent to me by FNBO after ****** switched from Bank of America. The BoA card had no annual fee - the FNBO was 89$ a year. I closed that card and applied for the no fee version of the ****** card from FNBO (you shouldn't have to pay for rewards!) and was approved for 15k. I got the card on a Saturday and had not even activated it when I got the same letter Jesus G got telling me the fraud department had deactivated the card and wanted all those documents. I go... read more

****** and FNBO sent an email offering me a credit card. Since I travel a lot on ****** I applied for it. The FNBO card was approved immediately. I already have the credit card with me, but to activate it, now FNBO is asking for my documents, Photo/ID and Copy of my Social Security Card. This is the first time that a bank asks for this information after they approved the card. This should happen before approving the card and entrap me with a $90 dollars a year subscription. I want to cancel this card. I will not send the inf... read more

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY - Predatory practices. $99 lesson learned. Hidden "activation" fee listed on ******* website - hidden quite well - spoke with a CSR within 5 minutes of applying - he assured me this charge would be removed but since account was just opened - he could not look up the account. CSR today said NO - I used the card - of course I used the card cause that is where I found your bogus ad. So my tickets on ******* has now cost me an additional $99 so that I can pay for a credit card that I used once and cancelle... read more

fnbo has the worst app and website I have used when banking. Every time you want it to work, it doesn't. I try to reset my password and it never works. When it does work I can log in for weeks and then out of the blue it stops letting me log in, then I have to reset my password again, and it takes hours if not days to do this. It's just the worst website and app. Please improve it!!!!

I recently made a payment to my account and went to check it online to see if the payment posted and was not able to access my account. I called customer service and was transferred to the fraud department. They said my account on hold and under review.. I was not sent any communication that a review was being done or that any fraudulent activity was detected. They wouldn't tell me how long the review would take. It's been a week since I made my payment and the account is still on hold

I have had numerous issues with FNBO being able to apply a payment correctly to my loan. In making a payment on the phone and requesting the payment be applied to principal only, FNBO has an issue they apply it to the Line of Credit (LOC). Doing this does not allow for my automated to be withdrawn. This issue has been going on now for 4 years. My latest issue is again dealing with a payment incorrectly applied to my account as LOC instead of principal only. In FNBO's process to correct the issue they have deleted one of my t... read more

I had a card for several years and used it a few times then paid in full each time. I used the card to pay the balance ($1,500) on my Disney cruise last Thursday and received an alert that my account was closed the same day. I call customer service and they stated there was nothing that could be done and the charge probably will not go through. So now I have to wait and see then pay again and it needs to be paid in full by the end of the month or I lose my reservation. I am in shock that this is allowed and customers can be ... read more

They add so many stipulations on their promotions that it's difficult to get and refuse to work with you or give you any customer service if you aren't wealthy. I created a new account for their $250 promotion. Make 2 direct deposits of $250 each for 2 consecutive months and they will give you $250. I did this, but they said I made 1 deposit the first month and 3 deposits the second month. They said for the first month that the last day was 7/13 and my paycheck cleared on 7/15 which is why the second month was 3 payments. Tw... read more

With a perfect FICO scores of 800+, using card monthly and paying it off monthly - they sent me a letter one day of lowering my limit from 15,000 to $500. When I called in to ask why - they came up with bogus answer's claiming it's not their fault, but it is credit agencies who sent a signal to them. Then while I was on the phone with supervisor I pulled all 3 my credit reports, and found that my scores are still 800+, never late, never failed anything, I simply ask them again "what is a real reason behind it", they still co... read more
