Great lunch special – This is a great place to go during lunch. You get a slice of pizza with whatever you want, salad, a drink and two bread sticks. How can you not be happy with that? On the pizza, no matter what you order, you definitely get your moneys worth on toppings. You may be a little tired when you get back to work because you are so stuffed but who cares.
Best Pizza in Portland – Not pretentious, just great pizza and you don't wait in line for an hour like another pizza place on Hawthorne.
Fantastic Pizza!! – It was as good as if I had made it myself at home! Lots of selection, whole wheat crust offered as a healthier selection. It was the best pizza I have had in a long time. Better than alot of chains roundtable, pizza hut etc. The staff was friendly and the food took the amount of time I would expect for a pizza that thick. Delicious.
Excellent Pizza – I was in the mood for a good pizza and decided to try something new. I usually order pizza from Giovanni's or Nonna Emelia's - but this time made the drive to Lake Oswego and picked up an extra large stromboli pizza from Flying Pie. The pizza was excellent - tons of toppings and everything was very fresh. The italian sausage is unique as far as pizza places go and tastes great. I will definitely be back. I can't say much about the restaurant itself - as I picked up my pizza. The inside look pretty simple - ... read more
Awesome!! – Awesome pizza!!!!!!! Awesome service!! Definitely worth your money! Huge pizzas with lots o' toppings! We loved it!!
Time saving lunch! – I eat lunch there at least once a week. For about $6.50 I get a slice with MY choice of toppings, a salad (which I also get to make from their salad bar), breadstick too!) and a unlimited soda. I always end up taking half of my slice back to the office because I get soooo full. And the best part is I call it in ahead and it's ready 3 minutes after I walk in. (Which is about the time I sit down after making my salad.) Happy Me!
great pizza and great staff – we met at the pizza parlor had great food then headed for a tub for an hour at tub and tan.. the area is great and seems to be getting better.
These top-heavy pies conform to the adage that more is better. – In Short Tables hang upside down from the ceiling; knickknacks, board games and video games keep customers busy while they wait. Here, diners get in line to order, grab a booth and pick up their own pizza and utensils. There are more than 30 different toppings, including oysters and soy cheese, plus two different doughs and four styles of crust. The tender-crust calzone is also very good. The small but well-stocked salad bar is an added bonus.
Pizza like you always wanted – Since the early eighties we have never been disappointed walking out the door with a pizza to go from either location. My Italian wife swears they use the best Italian sausage in town - I dunno, but it is better than any other I've had on a pizza. For all I know it could be off the shelf from WalMart, but IT IS GOOD. Burned crust - Never. Pie size - large is 2 days worth of games. Only improving since opening the original location on Stark. Don't expect Jerusalem artichokes marinated in fragran... read more
