I was quite disappointed as a repeat customer, the portions in the location felt smaller and a medium well we asked for came as a dry, chewy, well done steak. Mac and cheese is a must though and at least the lovely server vetoed my overcooked steak.
I came to flat iron Spitalfields for the first time. The staff were absolutely lovely and so was the atmosphere. The only thing that’s stopping me from giving it a 5 was that I asked for a medium well steak twice and both times I got well done. However my waiter roberto was incredibly nice and accommodating to me as well as another lady I never caught her name but she carries around sunshine she has curly hair, tall and brownskin.
We had a wonderful experience here! The steak was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. The food was beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was fresh and satisfying. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, making it a great place for a relaxed dinner. The service was also excellent, especially Roberto, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. Been here a few times w ith my dad who has sadly passed, He loved the steak and found the steak knives amusing. Was never too noisy for him and as a steak lover I'm sure we'd be going here still.
