Dr. Banki came via referral from my primary doctor. From there everyone that I came in contact told me that I should continue to see her. Her reviews from fellow Doctors that I normally see was nothing but positive. Very wise choice I think I have made. My mom is 74 years old and had a hiatal hernia that she must’ve had for over 30 years. Due to the length of time she had her hernia, her stomach managed to somehow go through it and travel up behind her heart and flipped upside down, she was unable to even keep water down. Dr. Banki and the nurses are incredible! They took excellent care of my father-in-law with stage 4 hiatel hernia. They answered every question and met every need of his as well as those of our family. Their knowledge, confidence and kindness are unmatched. They should serve as an example to all other medical teams!

Yesterday, Dr. Banki created a Toupet Fundoplication through laparoscopic surgery for my son. He has never had a good night's sleep --until last night. Previously, he had a Nissen Fundoplication, but it failed. It was coming apart and acid was coming up his esophagus and causing damage. You will find her to be extremely bright and compassionate. Memorial Hermann Southeast (Houston) was also impressive with the wonderful staff and care.
Dr. Banki performed my husband's laparoscopic nissen fundoplication surgery. He had had 2 failed hiatal hernia repairs by other surgeons. Dr. Banki is an awesome surgeon with great bedside manners. She explained the procedure thoroughly and made us feel very comfortable. We were nervous at first knowing my husband was going into surgery. Dr. Banking is the most caring doctor I have ever encountered in my life. She has this personality that give you confidences when she speaks with you about your condition. The confidence in her voice gives you hope and makes you feel that you will be alright. There is not adequate space to describe what a incredible, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate Dr. Banki is. We are so very thankful that our handicap son was referred to her, when all measures had been taken to help our son with a destroyed portion of his esophagus. We are still in shock over the quality of care she has treated our 43 year old son. Competent, confident, and professional! Dr. Banki's confidence gives the patient and their family the confidence to face the situation. Five minutes after meeting her you believe you are in the best of hands. And you are! Her concern for the patient is evident and felt immediately. She explains the procedures involved clearly and thoroughly. Dr. Banki's staff, both nursing and office, are also top notch. I recommend Dr. Banki without any hesitation or reservation whatsoever.
