Words can’t express my gratitude to Dr. Banki. She is INCREDIBLE-professional, competent and unbelievably compassionate. She treats you as if you are part of her family, not as a patient. Her office staff is extremely efficient and courteous, and her teams at Hermann Memorial Southeast are exemplary.

My mom needed hiatal surgery repair. She is 88 years old. Most doctors would have said she is too old for surgery. Dr. Banki did the complicated surgery with great success. Mom hasn’t felt this good in years. I highly recommend her. Very friendly and accommodating. Great staff too.

I was referred to Dr. Banki by my oncologist, Dr. Hasham-Jiwa, to have my bottom lobe of my lung removed. Dr. Banki saw me the next day, scheduled my surgery for the same week. Her office staff are the best. They answered all my questions. Dr. Banki’s surgical team at the hospital were also the best. They’re explained everything to me. I highly recommend Dr. Farzaneh Banki. From the very first meeting my husband and I knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to clearly discuss my condition, describe what would happen in surgery and answer all of our questions. She is professional and compassionate. My 81 year old mother suffered from a very large hiatal hernia. Our local doctors would not do the surgery because they said it would be too extensive or that the hernia would return in a couple of years. Dr. Banki provides the best care of any doctor with which I have had experience. The level of detail she and her staff takes is second to none. She answers questions thoroughly and she listens to everything you have to say and ask. I have had relatives who had care at MD Anderson and they didn't have the level of care that I received from Dr. Banki and her staff. I am thankful to have been under her care!

Dr. Banki and her staff are awesome. She and/or her staff have called me several times to check on me since my surgery. She takes time to explain everything. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
