Atmosphere was great. Tea was great. Service was good. Just wish my server had been a little more engaged and took the time to explained what was in my Tea service.
Wow! This place is amazing. Definitely lives up to its reputation. Staff are so lovely & eager to help. Rooms are spacious, luxurious & beautiful. Fantastic location. Creating some amazing memories. Love. Love. Love.

My fiancé took me here by surprise for the afternoon tea. It was an incredible experience. The tea was very good and I don't drink tea (he did not know that). The selection of pastries and mini sandwiches was more than enough. I agree with a previous review, the waiter should have described the different sandwiches and pastries provided so we did not have to guess or bite into each one. Great hotel to stay at, just one thing you must do in all rooms. Get Nespresso machines in the rooms you are falling behind the other top hotels around the world. Thank you.
Lovely tea, pity about the arrogant waitstaff who think serving guests is below them. Arrogant waiter didn't refill water, tea, enquire how our meal was and plonked the bill on the table while we were still drinking tea. He also had the gall to bring the bill back and tell me the minimum tip was 15%. Here's a tip - give decent service and be rewarded. Definately worth a visit for the tea, don't come expecting service.
