Excellent service all around especially Brittany the hostess who accommodated us all the way from Los Angeles. Our breakfast Friday morning was a remarkable experience. Can not wait to return ! Love the Palm Court !

We paid 200 dollars for a meal for family of 5 ( 1 course ) service was so slow I had to send pasta dish back whilst waiting for Parmesan! When we left we were still hungry as portions are small . Lovely looking hotel but very expensive for quality of food and poor service
We just walked in and went to the champagne bar but they were not letting any visitors in when we were leaving. The bartender Laura was witty and entertained us for about an hour. Beautiful decorations for christmas and when she found out our plans for central park she let us buy a bottle of champagne and threw in a fancy french stopper some cups and a cloth napkin. Had drinks in the Champagne Bar and it was magnificent; old school charm, and just steeped in history. The bartender was friendly and approachable, and we met a few wonderful couples. The Malbec was buttery with incredible legs, and the 12-year-old scotch was perfectly smoky and peaty. I'd love to return one day and actually spend the night.

Took my 13 year old son to the famous Plaza Hotel to show him the lobby and eat but the hotel was shut down to their residents only. The downstairs food court is nothing in comparison to what the Plaza used to be. Disappointed is an understatement!
