High tea at the Palm Court divine! The food shops downstairs are down ghastly. Not becoming of this grand hotel.
Our daughters arranged a belated birthday high tea at The Palm Court at The Plaza Hotel yesterday. Everything were beautifully prepared and the service staff attentive, though I must say the food (finger sandwiches, sweets and scones) were only passable, then again, we didn't simply go there for food but absorbed the atmosphere and history of the beautiful architecture. Went for champagne afternoon tea was lovely our waiter was very attentive and had good chat with him loved it all highly recommend ��
This was exceptional! Had champagne in the champagne bar. I also had the Plaza Burger, which was the best burger I had during my 10 days in New York. The level of service and attention to detail was faultless. My glass was kept topped up sorry I didn't get the waiters name. I do have to mention Natalie who really stood out. I enjoyed watching her interact with other guests, always smiling and greeting them as they passed by or joined the bar.
