We ended up at the rose bar having booked at the Champagne Bar. We were running 15 mins late but had called to advise this 45 mins earlier. This had been a childhood dream to visit the hotel and felt the welcome was a little hostile but when we went to Rose Bar we had excellent service. Toilet queues are not good! Lovely champagne and service
I loved the food hall. It reminded me of Harrods in London but with a charm that is purely New York. Would highly recommend it to everyone. There is something for everyone, regardless of your taste and appetite, from pasta, crepes, chocolate to sushi. Bon a petite

Amazing hotel, amazing breakfast and fabulous Serivce. Had breakfast here for my daughters 10th birthday
We had Afternoon Tea at the Palm Court and it was beautiful, and scrumptious!!
I wanted to get breakfast. They took ages to sort out a table then split a small table in two and put me on a small sofa that would have been super weird with two people on it and noisy families both sides. I didn't stay.
Had a very nice time and enjoy Tea Time.. service impecable ..
Stopped in at the Rose Bar for cocktails and cheese platter after a day of attempting to shop while trying to maneuver around the huge protesting crowds. Our server and others who worked there were very pleasant and professional. Was a great break from all the negativity that was going on outside. It's a beautiful iconic hotel to visit or stay.
I enjoyed the atmosphere in the lobby bar and the hotel is beautiful however I found out bar tender rude and unhelpful. I felt like he was speaking down to us and I expected better service with the extreme price of the cocktails. For someone who works behind a bar, he needs better customer service skills. My friends $19us glass of wine had lipstick on it and he didn't seem to worried and unhappy to have to pour a new one. We did however have one bartender who in passing was extremely lovely.
