BEST MASSAGE HANDS DOWN!!! – I am a working mother of 3 and have been spa-hopping for years trying to find that special, tranquil place I can escape to every month. Super Service – Wow! I love going to the spa's. I went due to the inviting gift certificate, and asked for the works! It was outrageous. The massage was out of this world. The therapist was professional, and yes, I'll be back. The mud mask and other skin care treatments did a miracle on my skin! I left feeling so refreshed, my face like a clean healthy and younger appearance. The prices are within the norm for a good day spa in NYC. The staff were personable and very helpful.
Iffy – As a spa virgin with a gift certificate, I was very excited for my facial and massage. The facialist tried to sell me something from the second I walked in the room. After I said it was my first facial, she told me my skin was in "bad shape" and I needed another mask to open my super clogged pores AND I needed all these other skin care products. Best place in New York for facials – Honestly! I would never go anywhere else to get my facials. Facialists are extremely professional and do magic on my face. Another reason why I always go to Dorit Baxter for facilas is the amazing skin care products. Me and my husband are officially addicted to the fantastic oil-free moisturizer. I never let my husband leave the house without applying the oil-free moisturizer, especially after shaving or shower. Just an Average Spa, but Hard Pusher of Products – The spa in itself is nothing special... they renovated the place 2 years ago, but the decor is nothing fabulous. Mostly lots of mirrors with a larger curtain in the changing room. I've had both massages and facials there. The facialists are rather aggressive with their squeezing, so I left there quite red. best day EVER – so my gf got me a massage package at dorit baxter for my bday, and i'm not going to lie, i was pretty hesitant at first... little did i know that it would be the best thing that ever happened to me... the massage therapist was ridiculous -- i've never felt so relaxed in my entire life, and best of all (especially for a first timer like myself) the whole ambiance about dorit baxter was relaxed and chill, NOT pretentious at all Simply amazing... i give it my highest recomendation possible
WOW...plain and simple – My sister got me a very nice gift certificate to Dorit Baxter. I've been to a few spas before in NYC that were nice, but I was really blown away by the experience here .
