WOW! I wish I would have researched this company sooner and did my homework. I got a car loan through them in 2018 and have made 38 payments totaling over $16K when my initial loan amount was only $15K but in 2022 4 years later I STILL OWE $14K. In reading everyone's review I see they are crooks! and charging daily interest. I have fell on hard times and had to get my loan extended a few times but made a lot of payments. I am unable to keep paying this note am devastated that it will hit my credit if voluntarily turn it in. ... read more

I have paid 2 car payments and they never got the first one and I'm not understanding why the payments I have made no one will look into where it went when I sent it from the bank through bill pay so it's not on a statement it's the first transaction I've made with this acct gave the confirmation number and I'm told no one is looking into it and need to pay it again um excuse me I paid it it's not my fault if it didn't go through on y'all's end and the bank has been trying to figure it out and no one will get in contact with... read more

I would give zero stars if possible. Customer service is beyond rude. If you are even a day late for a payment they will call you multiple times a day, every day. Half the calls attempted to answer I was hung up on. If you call back expect to wait before speaking with somebody and certainly would not expect any type of satisfactory resolution on the consumer end. Predatory loans for people already experiencing hardship. I have an excellent payment history with them however interest rate is so high it's actually lowered my cr... read more

(Exeter Finance) i have never seen anything like this and I'm wondering how is it even legal for a finance company to charge daily interest, this is highway robbery and at this rate you will be pay the car off. I am concerned to find out that the company who financed my car told me they charge daily interest. When 1 got the car finance charges was charged I believe. I've had the vehicle 2 years and it's only a thousand dollars less than what was owed when I purchased it and most of the time I pay above what my monthly paymen... read more

I called this company several times to explain a hardship. They are very uncaring unprofessional and downright crooks. I have never encountered a company that doesn't wanna work with their customers to pay off a debt or make the account current. Lesson learned will never use or recommend this company again!

RUN FOR THE NEAREST Exit !!! It would be a NO STAR here -- I have try for over 10 years to have Exeter Remove an old voluntary repo from my credit bureaus, this company should be placed under investigation with the FBI, Fair Credit Reporting Act --- they continue to try to extort money from me, the customer service is not professional and the business is horrible -- they act like thieves -- stay away from this company -- its companies like this that we all should file a "Class action lawsuit" for fraud, mail fraud Stay away ... read more

I got my car in late 2016. My monthly payments were $335 and between me and my mother we paid on time only late on a few payments. But I noticed in 2019 the amazing I still owed was the same as when I first got the car. Which was close to $13000. I called their customer service line several times with no answers. One guy told me I've been paying the interest off. I told the guy that's not how financing a car works or anything for that matter. A portion of your payment goes toward the principal and the rest goes towards the i... read more

Truly unprofessional organization. I don't even have an account with this organization, nor will I ever. I work in a hospital and have been receiving a call from this organization for a couple months. At first, a person would talk to me and whoever they were looking for did not work with me. I asked them to remove the hospitals number for their contact list. Apparently that didn't work. I then started receiving calls and the caller would hang up once I identified myself. I would think twice before I obtain services from this... read more
