This company makes me sick they should feel ashamed of them shelfs.Was diagnosed with lung cancer going to need surgery have 6 months left on loan and they told me to bad if you can't pay we will repo your truck.All they cared about was getting there money.never missed a payment just makes me disgusted.
Well... Exeter been calling me telling to make a payment on my acct which I've already done. Said that they never received any payments from me in which I've made the payment through my bank acct. Their system been down in which it lead me to go thru my bank to make the payment. I'm really regretting going with this company
They provide an email address on their securities that is invalid, according to Fair Debt Collection Practices Act that is intentional and designed to injure its investors/public. They also say they don't send securities which is in violation of the Security exchange act of ****. System was down all week I called in to explain They said clear my cache and cookies That had nothing to do with why their system was down Said i should get late payment on my account Woke up to a ding on my credit report saying I was late!! That is not my issue that their system was down!!! i work 6am to 7pm and I have been making my payments on time i dont have the time or the availability within the customer service hours to call in and dispute issueThis needs to be fixed.. *******************
My due date is at the end of the month, and the website was down ALL WEEK and they were closed for holiday so nobody was around to fix it or help you. If your payment is late even by one day just because it's the end of the month, they'll report it to the credit bureau! Even if it's THEIR FAULT the website was down! Absolute BS. Most places will give you 30 days but they don't even tell you that to begin with. Not to mention I got spammed with 14 emails from them about changing my due date which is useless anyway. For the extent of my financial relationship with exeter finance, I have found their customer service abhorent and their ability to disclose information lacking.When initially recieving the refinance notice a very helpful representative was the one handling the transaction, but the second I signed the contract attitudes changed.When trying to get assistance to set up my online account, representatives were unhelpful and rude and I had to resolve the issue I was having on my own.After finding that my payment date was detriment... read more
This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a finance company. I bought a used car back in 2019 - never once made a single late payment, and recently paid it off in September. Without going on a tangent, their communication is AWFUL. No title, no confirmation of the car being paid in full, and hour long wait times on the phone. After paying off the car, Exeter so kindly reported a 30+ day late payment to my crediting agencies, which dropped all of my scores 50+ points. I called in with some questions about my account. When asked to verify my employer, I was told the employer on file was ******* and ******. I told them I never worked for ******* and ******. I asked is that what the dealership gave to you. The agent replied yes. I asked how did that happen. The agent said it must have been a mistake. This led me to believe the dealership I did business with (********************) did some fraudulent activity to get my loan approved.
