This company is a scam and makes no sense. I have been with this company for 3+ years and the business I get as a consumer is ridiculous. I have lost my job and got some late fee on my acc which understand I would have to pay but what I have a problem with is the fact I paid the fees they asked me for and brought my acc up to date. If I could give **** place no stars I would. This place takes advantage of people who are in need of help. I had a 6 year contract. I paid it off in 3. I have been making $465 a month, a little over $17000.00 in total. Come to find out, I still owe $11000.00 dollars. Exeter Finance is a very shady company. I did a refinance on my truck which only ended up costing me more so I paid it off early 5 years early and expected a refund on the gap, which I canceled in October, it's December 21 and I have yet to receive my refund, which I have been told 4x now that it was in the mail and was mailed to me they don't know why I've not got it. Nastiest customer service ever. I called to discuss my account and asked for a letter to confirm the information they provided over the phone. They lady kept telling me she couldnt put the information in a letter which made it feel theres something dirty going on with this company. Well... Exeter been calling me telling to make a payment on my acct which I've already done. Said that they never received any payments from me in which I've made the payment through my bank acct. Their system been down in which it lead me to go thru my bank to make the payment. I'm really regretting going with this company

System was down all week I called in to explain They said clear my cache and cookies That had nothing to do with why their system was down Said i should get late payment on my account Woke up to a ding on my credit report saying I was late!! That is not my issue that their system was down!!! i work 6am to 7pm and I have been making my payments on time i dont have the time or the availability within the customer service hours to call in and dispute issueThis needs to be fixed.. *******************
