I tried to make my payment of $600 though the automated system, Exeter charged my card ***** whose refusing to give my money back. thus is the worse company ever, please do not finance a car with them.

Exeter Finance is the worst company it has ever been my displeasure to do business with. I traded in a car I had financed through them and the card I traded in also had an extended warranty through Carmax that was also refunded. The CarMax refund hit the Exeter account before the dealerships check for the payoff leaving a residual amount from the dealerships check that should have been sent to me. I've had my vehicle since November of 2023 made my payment for December on time using a money order. January the same and after a couple of weeks they tell me they have not received my payment. I got in touch with ************* to track it they told me the money order has been cashed and gave me the date. Exeter said that it doesn't show up in their system at all. ************* told me what to do to get the information I needed to find out who cashed the money order. This finance company is violating Usary Laws with outrageous interest on their vehicle the state maximum interest rate on a vehicle is ***** percent, why is my nephews rate over 27 percent! Will have my lawyer look over his contract. He had paid over $15k on a car that was financed for $16k he has paid them over $20k and over $15k of it has gone to interest only! CriminalsLong story shortIve had to file for bankruptcy to get out from underneath the car loan that I had. When I received the paperwork from their lawyers in regards to them taking back my carAFTER their fair market value of my car they said I still owed $1200 less than what I had ORIGINALLY took the loan out for!!? So after making the payments on it for 2+ years literally went to interest, and I have come back full circle to where I was when I originated the loan?!?! Every month I make my payment, get a confirmation number from them, a week or so will go by before my payment is processed and I get a $30 late fee! Happens 9 out of 10 times. They apologize and say it must be a system issue. 11 out of 12 times? And if its a system issue, then remove the late fee charge! They cant do that I am told every time! I have paid more than double back on my car loan and Exeter has not reported my payments accurately. My credit report states *** paid 69% of my loan but still owe 93%.

Been paying 470 a month for 3 years and the price owed on my truck only went down by ****. Paid almost *****. So ****** went to interest and their pocket. Big scam. They should not be legally able to operate

This company is a scam, I been making two payments every month. I requested for my 2nd payment to go straight to my principal. All this time I thought it was and it wasnt. These peoples refuses for me to pay it off early. I hate that this wasnt addressed to me from the start. Theyre forcing people to pay the interest. Im looking to refinance with another company as soon as possible.
