I would give them a negative number! I payed my payment usually on time but life happened and I got behind. I then asked for an extension and they told me that it would be granted if I made a payment. I made said payment and signed the extension papers which by the way I had to call and find out where they were, when I made contact to find out what was going on they didnt even have my email, it was someone elses. I am a cow borrow and co owner on a vehicle for my son , they didn't put me on the title and my son defaulted on the loan so I have no legal rights to the car but I am financially responsible for it , the blame this mistake on the dealership mistakes do happen but they should have caught this and had it fixed , extere finance paid the dealership it is exteres responsibility to make sure the paperwork is correct prior to completion of the loan and payments, now they hold me responsible for there mistakes and have jeopardized ... read more
Only because 0 isnt an option. I was told i could pay 3 months ahead and I made last payment in October with November December and ******* paid and they are calling in December saying it was late then hit my credit and charging me late fees. I talk to them they say oh you can only pay 2 months ahead but still have 2 late fees from December and *******. The one manager tried to talk down to me like I was a child in the principals office. I have been trying to payoff my car loan since December of last year, it is now almost March. Exeter Finance has had a payoff check, in a cashier's check form which is like CASH and already out of my account and they refuse to apply it to my account. Everytime I call, the customer service **** first says they don't have the check. After escalating to a manager they all of a sudden can find it, but I have to call back in 3 days so they can talk to the right department to get the check applied to my account.... ****.. THEY ARE THE WORST. I STILL HAVE A CAR IN THE YARD,I ASK THEM TO COME GET 2MONTHS AGO. CALLED EVERYDAY AND STILL DIDN'T COME GET IT. ATTEMPTED TO FILE ON BBB,THEY NOT EVEN LISTED. STAY AWAY..
