RecommendedIt was New Year’s Eve and we had a basement flood to deal with and we both have the flu. Essig responded in less than an hour and resolved a backed up drain. Their techs worked indoors and in the rain to fix the problem. All to my surprise the charge was $99 as advertised for a clogged drain. Nice job!!

Our plumber, Phil Smith, arrived earlier than had been announced but then waited patiently until my wife left for work before pulling into our driveway. There was no charge for the extra time. His work was thorough and careful in every way, his manner pleasant and friendly. His ten years of experience with Essig shows itself in his confidence and competence and we are very pleased with the results of his work. We would recommend Essig in general and Phil Smith in particular to anyone with a plumbing need, large or small.
After one outrageous estimate and unreturned calls from 2 other contractors we called Essig. They came out the next business day and Joel and Ryan found the problem and gave a on the spot estimate.
Joe W. did a great job servicing our furnace, he didn't try to sell us things we didn't need and explained things so we could understand easily. It had been a long time since we had this work done, and Essig made it easy. Thanks!
Furance shut down 4 a m Christmas morning. We called Essie and they sent Joe out right away. Joe was friendly, had a great attitude dispite having to come out Christmas morning. He found the problem and fix the furance in no time. I can highly recommended Essig's.

The info and communication from Essie is great. They called to refine the arrival time before coming to our house. They sent a message with a photo of the technician and a short bio. Barry was friendly and very knowledgeable and did a great preventative service on our gas furnace. We are more than pleased. Goodbye UGI!
The staff along with Barry who came to my house were amazing. Very friendly and detailed I signed up for the monthly plan I intend to use them for all my heating and plumbing issues.
