I have had an IRA with Equity Trust for the last 10 years and I tell everyone about how great they are. Not only can I invest in real estate and crypto in the same account but the fees are really reasonable. I have checked out other competitors and they nickel and dime you for everything but with Equity it is all included.

Equity Trust has been great, they offer so many options for investing both traditional and alternative investments. I have been a client for 11 years and have never had a bad experience.

I have had a SDIRA with Equity Trust for several years now. Their maintenance fees are reasonable and I have never had a problem interfacing with the people who work there. Their website is simple and easy to navigate.

The User website is completely dysfunctional. It should be organized by Asset/Investment. I should be able to see what documents I have submitted for each, as well as payments made, maturity. Everything is organized by a drunken lobster. "My Accounts" shows a non-descriptive list of activity. "Investments" gives links to how I can invest, not my actual investments. My father passed away owning a SDIRA with Equity Trust. Initially they were helpful. My father had some expenses that needed to be paid, and as soon as Equity Trust ID’d me as my dad’s beneficiary (through documentation verification), they assisted me in getting these payments out (per my request). Thereafter, I reached back to request guidance on transitioning the IRA into an inherited IRA for myself. The person who was assigned to assist will not respond to calls or emails. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I recently opened a SDIRA with Equity Fund for a real estate transaction and I had very good customer service throughout the process. My emails were responded to the same business day and sometimes even within minutes. The wait time on the phone was minimal and the advisor on the call was knowledgeable and efficient. Equity Fund offers better features for paying bills and receiving payments than similar companies.

Same as the other one star reviews for me. Cannot get my money constant runaround we are so busy. It has been 2.5 or 3 months. Total crooks.

Worst service I've experience with excuses for why they HELD my funds. I filed a DRF form as required on 03/31/22 for ACH Distribution. Process was supposed to complete within 2-3 business days. DRF was confirmed received and funds available as of 04/05/22. I called in because they never process my funds to my bank as requested. Called 04/18, 04/19, 04/20 and was told...We're very busy - its tax season; We have all that we need but haven't started the transfer process; then We're waiting for a manager to approve the transfer... read more

Regarding my reqiired minimum distribuiton of my IRA with Equity, I repeatedly asked to process mailing of the RMD check to a disignated charity but it was never done.
