Same as the other one star reviews for me. Cannot get my money constant runaround we are so busy. It has been 2.5 or 3 months. Total crooks.
Worst service I've experience with excuses for why they HELD my funds. I filed a DRF form as required on 03/31/22 for ACH Distribution. Process was supposed to complete within 2-3 business days. DRF was confirmed received and funds available as of 04/05/22. I called in because they never process my funds to my bank as requested. Called 04/18, 04/19, 04/20 and was told...We're very busy - its tax season; We have all that we need but haven't started the transfer process; then We're waiting for a manager to approve the transfer... read more
Regarding my reqiired minimum distribuiton of my IRA with Equity, I repeatedly asked to process mailing of the RMD check to a disignated charity but it was never done. Star rating would be zero if possible This is the worst company I have ever worked with. They repeatedly make mistakes that end up costing me money. I was told 7 years ago to use an EIN that was the wrong number, so the taxes were never recorded as being paid. Finally someone at Equity caught the error in 2020 and contacted me. No one there knew what to do about it. I finally talked to a woman who said I had to send in federal and state tax corrections for those 7 years. Now the IRS is billing me for past years plus late fee... read more

I have been trying withdraw 5-100 ounce bars from my Equity Institutional IRA Account since 1/04/2022. Today is 3/17/22. They keep telling me I have completed all the required paperwork, but the depository is running slow. REALLY!! They are so far behind they can not put 5 pieces on a fedex truck and ship it out!!!! I gave them one star because there is not a choice for no stars. I would not use or recommend this outfit to anyone. And their yearly maintenance fee is high!!!
I have used Equity Institutional for over 2 years for our gold IRA. I have been extremely please with all aspects of their service. The set up went without a hitch. Their fees are just what they said they would be. I really like that they support digital trends on my assets. Every time I have called their customer service has been efficient and helpful. I am very glad I went with them.
