I have used Equity Trust Co for about 15 years. They become easier to work with each year. Well trained personnel. Record keeping is perfect. Bill pay is fast.

TERRIBLE. Mailed a cashier's check for $29,422.31 on Jan. 27. Funds still not credited to my account on Mar. 7. Company reps unconcerned and non-responsive. Bank will charge ~ $600 to cancel the cashier's check before 90 days lapse. BBB complaint to follow, perhaps social media will have effect, lawsuit next. KB

Equity Trust is a Great company, with Great personnel running the business. I have been with this company for many years. The fees aren’t bad for the services you get! It gives you many options you can’t receive from using IRA and Roth accounts. My accounts keep growing and I feel it is Great for me! Everyone try’s very hard to do a Great job. I would recommend this company for what I cannot do with a Financial Institution’s on Traditional IRA’s and Roth’s.

I have been an Equity Trust client for more than 8 years. Always had excellent service, my business was buying Real Estate Mortgage Notes, Equity Trust always handed funds, when needed I always had had excellent customer service. You must read and complete paperwork carefully when you fill it out. Frank

ATROCIOUS customer service, many mistakes that they won't fix, and high fees. They do not answer the phone, do not call back, do not respond to emails. We have done business with them for many years and have multiple accounts with our family and investors. Over the years the service has gotten progressively worse to the point that it is now unbearable and basically non-existent. I have NEVER left a negative customer review, and only one positive review. I am not prone to complaining. However, I am at my wits end. I don't know what to do. I simply cannot a human on the telephone no mater what I do. How can that be? My client's account ran into some paperwork problems with an account that somehow got wrongly titled. She receives dividend checks but cannot cash them (they are not in her name) and cannot move the account.
