My Epson WorkForce Pro WF-**** has NEVER worked properly & I'm seeking a full refund or replacement. I've contacted *****************************, Epson's Chairman, but he's ignoring my ********************* proof of this substandard printer.
Ordered ink cartridge on 6/8/21; shipped on 6/10 via *****; arrived at *********, **. ***** location on 6/15 with no scheduled delivery date. On 6/21, I called ***** to initiate a trace on the shipiment and was told Epson needed to initiate the trace because ***** shipped the package NOT in accordance with their (Epson) shipping contract with *****. Their printers have gone down hill over the years!I bought the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Wireless Color Printer with *******, Copier, ***, Ethernet, Wi-Fi Direct .It didn't even last a year before the problems started and ** ONE at the company wants to take responsibility. I purchased ET-8550 and in the description, one of the reasons I purchased it, it states: "Print up to 2 years with each included and replacement ink bottle set. When setting up the printer all the steps it required, the ink it used, just in the set up process, I knew it was not going to last 2 years. I purchases what for me is an expensive all in one June 22, 2020. The first time I used the scanner, the document feed was defective. Customer service argued with me but eventually sent a replacement refurb unit, not a new one. Not having a functional unit caused destress in getting essential work done. Long story shortened, Epson has argued with me each of the 4 more times I've contacted them because each of the 4 refurb replacement printers they sent in less than a year have been defective. Epson Incident #2 I have been on hold with Epson for over two hours. Two weeks ago I returned a projector under warranty. Epson will deliver a refurbished projector once the broken one under warranty is received. They send me a shipping label to give to FedEx for shipment. I give the package to FedEx with the appropriate shipping label. A few days later, I get a call from FedEx. 3-10-2021. My Wife and I want to purchase a specific Epson printer. We have been watching the refurbished area of their website for several months, waiting for the printer to become available. i ordered ink from them and paid 19.00 for 2 day delivery which never happened. i ordered 02/16/2021 and it is 03/01/2021 and still nothing. Refused to give a refund and then claimed to have sent out a replacement, but it still has not shown up. Luckily i went through Paypal and they gave me a refund for not receiving my product. Very horrible customer service. I am sorry i bought an Epson Printer now just from reading all of the reviews.
Epson manufactures printers that use special cartridges and then uses software to ensure that no other cartridge from any other manufacturer may be used. This usually is not an issue as they are doing this "to ensure the printer works as designed." However, they then charge the consumer an extraordinary amount of money to replace the ink cartridges which end up costing the consumer the same amount of money as it would cost to just go and buy a new printer.
