Beautiful day and beautiful time. Sadly, we didn't get to hike up enchanted rock because we were unaware of dogs not being allowed on all trails besides the loop. We drove 2 hours in hype to only to be quite upset about that. Definitely would go back but without our ginger to get the full experience.
We arrived at 7:45 a.m. to ensure we got in the park for the day. There were about 25 cars already there. The day was absolutely fantastic. We decided to take the Loop Trail which is a very easy but long trail. At some point we ended up on Turkey Trail(easy), we are not sure how that happened, it's all ok, made for more of an adventure. We ended up getting back on Loop Trail, we saw a beautiful Lake, breathtaking. We came to another trail, Echo Trail, decided to take this trail that will cut through to Summit much quicker. Definitely recommend camping here! The stars are fantastic to see from the top of the rock at night, as is the sunset and sunrise!

Stayed 3 nights camping with my family for New Years. We had so much fun. We did not do the Summit Trail this time. We did the Loop Trail and around to Echo Canyon. We saw So. Much. Nature. It was amazing. Memories made for sure. Can't wait to return.
A great way to begin my 2017!!! I want back and explore the whole park...,maybe camping.
Really enjoyed it, photographs don't do it justice! Very clean and just a great place to hike, it's a very busy place so need to get there early because they get to capacity and have to close it off till afternoon. Do wear good hiking shoes and take water and snacks, camera and binoculars
