I great place to hike, climb, bird watch and star gaze. I recommend going on the weekdays instead of the weekends due to the lack of crowds.
They need some kind of reservation system. It sucks to drive 2 hrs and find out that you are closed!
Love this place first time coming down again . It was a very cool experience. Daughter from California suggested this and it was well worth it . Only complain I have is they should have more people working the pay area to move the line faster . But will go again
I love this place. Don't just go out the summit. Explore the other formations and all sides of the area.
One of the most amazing places I've ever been....amazing views, endless trails.
BUT A HUUUUGE BUT!!!! We are one usaaf veteran. One Dutch army veteran and two retired usaaf spouses with their two militairy children. We saw that militairy had free entrance; coming to the register we found out: Dutch army got paid no militairy respect-no discount. The usaaf vet had to show his card and tell them which % his disability was. 40%. No discount either. The rest of the fam was not even mentioned by the lady!!! I've been going here for 14 years and it never gets old! It's totally worth the hike and the drive to get there. My kids love it and have a blast hiking around. If you haven't been, you should go NOW! �
