Beautiful place unlike no other. Can see miles of Texas beauty on top of this magnificent rock.

Wife and I visited several years ago. Absolutely breathtaking!! Have pictures that shows the park in the summer time. One of our pic surprised us when we got them developed. It shows an image of "JESUS" holding his hand out. As if "HE" is blessing this location. GOD BLESS.
My wife and I use to go to Fredericksburg once a year for a short get away. We first went to Enchanted rock though about 5yrs ago when or daughter was 6mths old. We carried her on our backs up to the summit. This time, Now she is 6 and she loves the hike!! She has asked for two days about when we get to go back. It's a beautiful park and a great place to hike. We look forward to going back.

Great primitive camping sites with a mild hike for star gazing.
This place is geology and history in motion, at your fingertips and under your feet - a one of a kind place! Summit trail is beautiful on a clear (dry) day and you can see forever from the top of the dome, but I just did the whole Loop trail on a foggy day and it was awesome too!
We went December 23rd and planned on camping overnight. It was my first time there. Once we set up camp we went to hike up. It was hard for me! Had to stop a few times, but once you hit the summit...It was totally worth it! Love it! I need to come back and check out the other side where the lake is located at! Took some amazing photos!
