RecommendedMeh. Too much nature for me. And the rock doesn’t seem all that enchanted to me. Not one princess, prince or even old hag offering apples to be seen.
This park is very beautiful and has some great views. The hiking area is varied so make sure to wear the right shoes. It is well worth it!
Don't go to Enchanted Rock, it's ugly, you won't like it.

This is a great place to hike for all ages! The climb to the top can be made by anyone who wants to take in the challenge. If it is hot be sure to bring water. We stayed in the group camping spot primitive camping. Great camping spot for a Scout backpacking campout.

Be prepared to stop. A lot. I went around enchanted rock on one of the trails and I’m not out of shape but not conditioned to hike. Bring A LOT of water! One bottle will not do! But it was beautiful! Tons of plants and amazing scenery! Will definitely be returning!
I’ve been going to Enchanted Rock since 1972. It is a geological wonder and never fails to be as amazing as the first time I ever saw it.
