I called a few days prior to our visiting the park. Sure glad I got a day pass! This park fills up fast. Climbed to the top of the Enchanted Rock... awesome sights!!! And then hiked the loop trail! Great park! Friendly staff! We’ll be back!!
We love Enchanted Rock and have climbed it many times but the system has changed and you now have to make reservations online which my husband did last week but, supposedly, if the park is booked, it will automatically bump and book you for the next available day. According to the park attendant, “quite a few people” end up accidentally booking the wrong day without even realizing it and they’re “trying to fix the system.” We drove 3.5 hours this weekend with 3 very excited little boys ready to climb the “big rock” only to b... read more
