The location is perfect. The view is wonderful. The staff were amazing. The room was delightful. Nothing bad to say about this hotel I’ve visited for the first time and won’t be the last!

We just spent a few days in NYC and it was my girlfriend’s first time in the city so of course I wanted it to be a memorable experience. Not only did we have a great time in the city but our hotel stay was awesome. The staff at the Empire was very friendly and made sure we had ever thing we needed. When we decided to extend our stay an extra day they not only accommodated our request but gave us a great rate too. Also the location is great. Horrible hotel. Rooms even elves would find small. The rooms are dirty, don't have closet, we didn't have shower towels, charges to use the kuerig, Wi-Fi charge for every device and rude employees. Don't stay here.
When we arrived to the hotel it felt for a moment like a step back in time into 1970, the dark wood and gold design felt like an old warm and cozy home welcome you in. We came into the hotel at 8 am after a 12 hours flight, expecting to check in and get our room only at 15:00, what a great surprise it was for us when the front desk guy offered us an early check in free of charge (I have to say we came with our 6 years old kid and this early check in was a life saver).
