They were so fast and professional about getting our dog in with the whole Covid situation. Only had to wait an hour and a 1/2, when there was a 4-5 hour wait. Meds in hand, we got to go home, so our dog could rest comfortably. They are prompt and wonderful. Will highly recommend!

Not only are the staff extremely rude, they truly don’t seem like they care about your pets. The first time we brought in our dog she was vomiting nonstop and they informed us they weren’t taking pets unless they were “basically dying”. However we felt our dog was not well and needed to be seen ASAP and they agreed to see her. After a few days the vomiting began again so we called to bring her in (as they instructed us to) and they stated they aren’t taking any pets today. What is the point of a 24/7 emergency vet if they co... read more

We were so pleased with EVCOT, I just don’t have enough words! One of our cats stopped eating early this past Labor Day weekend (these things always happen over a weekend!), and we couldn’t wait two days for our regular vet. We brought her to EVCOT and just got the best care for her! Dr Wilson Karalus was thorough and committed to finding what was wrong. His/EVCOT’s first priority was good diagnostics and care, as opposed to just scheduling every random test one could think of. Willow was sent home with us to see if she impr... read more

Having worked in both human and veterinary medicine, I consider our community extremely lucky to have EVCOT available 24/7 for our emergency needs. I remember bringing our family pets to EVCOT in the '90s when we moved back to Portland when I was a kid! I have several dogs and naturally, I have needed EVCOT many times over the years, most recently for an emergency C-section last Tuesday. I was thoroughly impressed with the prompt care and attention my girl received and continue to feel very grateful that she and her babies h... read more

I literally can't begin to express how HORRIBLE my experience has been with this Veterinary Clinic. Under NO Circumstances should you bring your loved pets here EVER!😟 My dog was brought in with a critical infection 3 days ago, while I was out the country. The female Dr. I spoke with on the phone, was unclear as to the cause. I ask for updates on his condition, and was told, they "would get back to me".😔 They then ordered an ultra-sound and X-rays. They told me they would have the results soon, and would call to updates us... read more

Despite having a referral from our vet, and despite our willingness to come in at 1am, the staff was very dismissive of our concerns and not interested in hearing the sudden onset changes we had observed with our dog. Chalked it all up to old age which is NOT the case. Super disappointed and scared.
