My sister gets such good care in Cancer Center and inpatient when need be. Sometimes you have different personalities to work with, but thats life. Overall I would suggest coming here for care. My son has been in ER a couple times he also got great service. Sometimes it is busy and have to wait, but not like Loyola thats down the road. Two different atmospheres and I think care is just as good.

Rated a three because it's normally a pleasant emergency room, but tonight I was discriminated against for my tattoos, a late night visit and obvious OCCUPATIONAL burns from work so I'm getting sent home in pain, extremely uncomfortable and not being able to sleep even after taking mass sleep meds. Why ignore me because you're first judgement toward me is that you think I'm a junkie discrimination at its finest. Thank you for being completely unhelpful.

Getting ready to have my second back surgery here. Pre-op testing was yesterday. They immediately saw I was having trouble walking and put me into a wheelchair. Took me to each place I needed to go. Registration was fast. Less than 45 minutes and I was done with pre op. All the rooms for the testing we're next to each other. Everybody was nice. Free valet parking. I'm looking forward to surgery on the 19th Dr. Dixon and Dr koutsky are wonderful surgeons. The food is great! I had a great experience and then planning on having... read more

Maybe instead of letting someone wait for 4 hours before letting them know they will still not be seen for another 2 hours.... You give ppl the chance to leave and go to another hospital to be treated as soon as possible. I will never forgive the staff at elmhurst hospital for how my husband was treated cuz information goes a long way all you had to let him know was that all 49 of your rooms were filled and no one was going anywhere anytime soon!

From a fathers perspective. There is no reason for the order in which I wrote this. I definitely would not have a second baby here. The food was god awful. I ordered a personal pizza for my wife and mother and it was one of the cheapest pizzas I have ever seen. Not to mention it was 3 two bite slices. I'm pretty sure I could have went to the closest gas station and got them a better meal. Not sure how guest are allowed to eat when they come and visit. Especially those that are staying for many hours. Everything closes so ear... read more

Went to Elmhurst for my hip replacement. What a wonderful place to receive care. I was very nervous but my pre-op experience really was reassuring. My wife and I were treated first class as was everyone as far as I could tell. We had a walk in shower which was pretty unexpectedly awesome, and they accommodated every need. I pretty much freaked out about going home and being in the right condition to get myself out of bed, up to our second floor, etc. Their PT department, especially DANUTA provided the confidence as well as t... read more

Currently waiting on hold after speaking to 9 different people over the last few months dealing with a medical claim that was billed incorrectly with insurance. Keep assign to speak to a supervisor to no avail! Worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!! No one is taking accountability and passing the buck in the department!
