So disappointed with Edward, I have been a patient/client for the last 7 years, last month I had some abdominal pain and my doctor asked me for a CT Scan, without thinking I got to Edward to do it, well....a month later I got a $1,300 bill (after all the insurance discounts and co-pays). The CT Scan bill was $7,500. Can someone in simple ways explain to me HOW AN EXAM CAN COST $7,500????I know my insurance is good, but to have a final bill of $1,300 is because the starting cost was WAY TOO HIGH. Here we sit in ER 4 hours still not in our "outpatient room" staff standing around. I would understand if it was busy. Will be going to Rush Copley from now on
They saved my life. What else can i say. They are excellent in the cardiac unit and the nurses and doctor were heaven sent. Thanks for saving my life. Its people like you that make this world a better place.

I've had 4 hospital stays, including two major surgeries, here in the past 28 months (I'm lying in Edward as I type this). The care is top notch. The nurses and technicians are very hard working health care providers who care deeply about their patients. Any large organization is going to have it's occasional outlier, and unfortunately Edward can't escape that. But overall, I'm always confident that I'm in extremely capable hands, well cared for and well respected with Edward Hospital.
My daughter had to.be admitted on Friday with severe pneumonia. Her 4th birthday was the next day. When my wife and daughter woke up the nurses had placed Happy Birthday Emree on the wall. Later on they sang Happy birthday with a Birthday cupcake and 4 wrapped gifts. It was a welcoming surprise for us
