I broke my toe. The hospital gave me an X-ray in the hallway and then sent me back into the waiting room where they gave me a shoe and sent me on my way. I never experienced that in my life. Not even a Cook County hospital.
Not impressed. The parking is terrible! I drove around for 15 minutes before I found a space on the other side of the hospital! I brought a friend for out-patient orthopedic surgery and there were NO PILLOWS! How do you elevate a leg with no pillows? How do you make a nervous patient comfortable without any pillows? Nurses were great and very apologetic about there not being any pillows available.
None of the doctors know eachother and WHY THEY DON'T HAVE A LIST/MAP IS BEYOND ME. So of course I was late to my appointment after walking into 4 different rooms asking where to go and noone could help me cause they're all eating snacks at their stations to busy eating to open a computer and look it up (unsanitary) not to mention the waiting rooms are packed cause its understaffed yet the parking lots always full (probably patients) only convenience is its close to home other than that people are not helpful at all.
Staff doesn't always seem to know whats going on. Except for the two PCTs who have been excellent. Not my first choice.

Just received a $150 collection notice for a charge I never received a bill for in the first place. When I called I found out it was from an old charge from 2014. I couldn't get an answer as to what it was for or why they never sent a bill to me directly, just that it was sent to my insurance who didn't pay it or all of it. I paid it bc I'm not letting $150 mess with my credit but definitely not happy about this. Glad CDH is closer to me now.
