NEVER AGAIN. Had a sore throat. Went to a Walgreen's clinic. Nurse there had no clue and recommended I went to ER, which I did at Edward Hospital & Health Services. They had me waiting for ~4 hours. ER doctor ordered a cat scan. I was told I had an abscess. He initially suggested doing an incision to drain it, but it looks like the specialist didn't care to show up. So ER doctor just prescribed antibiotics and let me go. A week later I got a bill for MORE THAN $12,000 DOLLARS!!! Billing dept woman never explained cost implic... read more
Nurses were awesome. Very friendly. Not understaffed like many other hospitals. The worst part about being here was my condition I was in. Everyone made me feel at home as best as they could.
Love Edwards Hospital����it's the best never had an issue and all the Dr's are great!!!
My daughter had surgery yesterday, the care was GREAT!!! Dr. Kegan was very good as usual!! Thank you staff and Physicians for the care you gave my Daughter!!!!
Well this is one of the best hospitals I've been to. There is never a long wait and you to get right in and out and they find out what's wrong with you real quick and they really seem to care about their patients. I highly recommend this hospital.
After my third baby, I’m still just as impressed as the first time! I love the labor and delivery nurses (shoutout to Aubrey from Yorkville 😉 this time) and I love the mother-baby staff! Thank you for the great care!
Had surgery as outpatient with 23 hour observation. I was a nervous wreck and can't say enough about the staff. They were very compassionate to my fears. I just wish I knew all the names of the people I saw. No problems with anyone from check in to check out! All Doctors and Staff were AWESOME! The one negative thing that I have to say is housekeeping never came into my room to check and at least wipe down tables and toilets with disinfectant. I just had back surgery and could not be happier with every staff member I interacted with! They went above and beyond to ensure my pain was managed throughout my entire stay. The spine class they offered before discharge was extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to family and friends!
