My five year old son has needed his blood drawn twice in the past few months, very scary for his age! We were at the center for health off the hospital for both blood draws, and the phlebotomist have been awesome! Both times we have had Deena, and she’s simply amazing with him. She distracts him so well that he doesn’t even flinch. Today we had a girl who’s name I can only remember that starts with an “A” and she was wonderful with him too! Thank you for making his scary times so much easier for him!
The actual hospital and staff are awesome. But the billing staff is horrible. It took over 2 months to get a certain form I requested. After multiple calls and contacts talking to many different people including a supervisor or 2 i had been told more than once that it was mailed. Well finally after 2 months 3 days it finally came. It’s ridiculous and should not have taken this long.
I love it. Every time I go to Elmhurst, I receive the best service.
Worst hospital in the chicago land area. I was treated like some drug addict in the ER and it was right after my uncle, dad, uncle and grandmother all died within 3 months of each other. I was visiting my sister in wooddale and i started to have bad cheat pains so i went in. They were rude, they ignored me and charged me 1400.00, they didnt even give me a IV. It was a nightmare. I would rather take the chance of dying by finding another hospital then go back to Elmhurst hospital.
