I have been in Elmhurst Hospital for just one day now and I want to say how incredible the people are at this healing place. My nurse, BSN Ian Hogan (4th floor) is considerate, caring, thoughtful and very easy to speak to about health concerns. He is what nursing is all about and Elmhurst is very lucky to have him here to offer the best of care to patients. It is very obvious that Ian is here to help. The Doctors are truly the best of the best, the nursing staff fantastic. Whatever you require, Elmhurst Hospital exceeds any expectation you may have. Gave my grandma a prescription that could have killed her after a stroke, spent enough time fucking around with tests that they didn't treat my mom for her condition until it was too late and she died with a tube down her throat, and I've just had a doctor prescribe something over the phone asking me not to come in for a scheduled appointment to discuss the new medication. Not to mention the doctor and nurse who all but called me a liar. I don't know what kind of medicine they practice at Elmhurst, but it is not healing.
