this hospital was the worst. I will never recommend this place to anyone! they refused to treat me and would not release me without a test that they said had to be done, but they wouldn't perform it because insurance would only cover 80%, social worker stated it was about the money. Heart issues are no joke. no wonder this hospital is in financial ruin.

I have been to this hospital an inordinate amount of times, and my daughter gets admitted for a Sickle Cell Crisis and there are no beds in Pediatrics, so she's admitted on this God awful adult floor on 4, and not one nurse can seem to get an IV. Andrea, who was her nurse, gets an attitude, because she has NOT done her job all morning, and then the Supervisor backs up her ignorant behavior. Dr Harvey and her medical team were a dream team for my surgery! I couldn't have had a better experience. From check in, to pre-op, to post- op to all the caring people that helped take care of me, it was a wonderful experience. Great nurses, great staff, patient-centered care, wonderful pediatric unit, fantastic amenities to help the stressed families make the most of their visit, nurturing environment. I can't say enough about the great experience my family had at Edward hospital in Naperville. The only criticism I have is the amount of time we had to wait to hear from the specialist doctor. I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone in need of great care.
Edward is the best. They take good care of their patients. We live in Bolinbrook and if hospital care is needed...we drive to Naperville.
Let’s face it, no one likes going to the ER but at Edwards Hospital it was an incredible experience. Every single person was extremely helpful and most importantly expeditious which we truly appreciated it. We could tell they respected our time and were very helpful and informative along the way. Dr Mark Batts was BEYOND wonderful. What a great doctor from his empathy to respect and being a problem solver not to mention his excellent bedside manner. Amber the nurse was fantastic too. I made plans around a procedure that I had scheduled for 9:30 am and they called me the day before saying it’s at 7:00 am. I explained to them I made the appointment on that day so I could specifically have that time, they didn’t care and just kept saying how it’s not their fault. I planned my ride around the 9:30 am appointment and everything. If I’d known my appointment meant nothing I could’ve skipped waiting WEEKS and just gotten it done right away, but I’ve been waiting and continued on in pain because I wanted, no NEED... read more
