Worst experience ever with the service dept. at Elk Grove Toyota. I had my Tacoma in for factory maintenance and it seems like everything was pencil whipped on their multi point inspection. I specifically asked for my transmission fluids to be checked and they told me don't worry it's on the checklist. I came to pick up my truck once they were done and found out that the transmission fluid was never checked according to their multipoint checklist and the service advisor told me to make an appointment if I wanted to get it ch... read more
I would rate lower if possible. I took my car in for a diagnostics. Paid $160. They suspected it was the battery or the alternator. They DID not do a test to verify it. They told me to get a new battery or alternator. Apparently they don't have the capability to test this at the location? Kept the car for 3 days before I got it back. Horrible slow customer service. RecommendedWhen they call customers to remind them their car is due for service they should speak slower so you can tell which car you're referring to. Had someone call me today said my car was due for service thought she was talking about my Corolla as she said it hasn't been in since February 18th which was 5 months ago not 6. I said I needed to check my records. But called back to find out she was talking about my daughters Yaris. Went with a friend to buy a car. Everything was great until the papers were signed... Then the customer service went right out the window. The rims were scratched on the car when she bought it and should have been replaced. (This is just the beginning of the problems) She called numerous times to be told it was being reviewed and that the manager was not in. ELK GROVE TOYOTA IS A JOKE!
