You see you doctor for years, and you take your medications for years. Your Doctor quits, and your new Doctor want meet with you for months. Meanwhile, your new Doctor cancels your medications and won't prescribe your medications needed until he meets with you. I will end up in the hospital this weekend because the VA won't continue the medication I have taken for years. And the reason they won't continue my medication is because my new doctor hasn't met with me. Thank You El Paso VA, my medications officially ran out today,... read more

The VA has let me down. I have had headaches for six months now and told my primary care on team A. I been to the ER at William Beaumont and they suggested I see a neurologist. Told my doctor and gave him my ER slips and he said you don't need one and keeps giving Me meds I don't need. When I bring the pain situation he goes babbling on about a different matter and igno... read more

Ms. Graham: how is it that the top management in the various departments get bonuses when the El Paso VA is one of the worse in the nation. From the published list you have Enzel, the senior nurse executive getting 4000 dollars, Williams the chief of human resources getting 3000 dollars,Tovar and Franco getting 2000 dollars another nurse manager Gonzalez getting 2000 dollars. I would bet these people having getting these bonuses for years despite managing a worse in nation VA. It is disgusting. The corrupt culture of the VA c... read more

I have been satisfied with the services provided. Once in a while my appointments have been a bit far apart but I have no complaints.

Most definitely about the individual VA staff that make the difference. I have been blessed to have been assisted to my satisfaction. The VA needs to hire only Military affiliated individuals (Veterans, ex military and spouses) to work the customer service hotlines there's a lot of integrity issues in my opinion.

Up to 30 days is an unacceptable response time for providers to respond to fill out paperwork for patients, that has been submitted through medical records. That is just too long of a possible wait time. Realistically at the most, it should take no longer than two business weeks.
