I had such a great experience with all the staff in PT, Nuerologist, Cardiologist and Medical Records yesterday. A big Thank you to the Nurse Practitioner Jones for helping get all my father's Doctors in one place at the VA and not having to have serval doctors out in the community. Always good care at my VA. So many vets work for the VA. They care and does concern.
Terrible customer service. You'll make an appointment, and it'll get rescheduled at least 3 times before you see your provider (almost a year later). They're good at medicating you though!
I really like our El Paso VA clinic. My husband is 100% disabled and a retired Vietnam Veteran. He's also in a wheelchair. We were there yesterday, as a matter of fact. I enjoy all the people we interact with, and that's quite a few different clinics. I don't think they hear enough from people who are happy with their care and how they are treated. I have always been treated with respect and courtesy if there is a problem they fix it any faculties have things that can be better.
Not at the VA but my case worker Gracie. Who put me at ease and talked me into giving the system another chance. So not the place but Gracie who help me in my time of need.
I came from West LA VA where you can get an appointment almost immediately. Here I have to wait 2 months for an appointment. Its ludicrous. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I was told today that I have to wait till I'm 32 weeks to be seen. Not to mention the hold time on the phone. I got so tired of the 30 minute hold time I hung up. This has to be the worst VA I've been to or should I say tried to be seen at. Tried to call the womens coordinator a few times and never got a call back.
So far the VA hasn't disappointed me on my appointments, they call to confirm my appointment 2 to 3 times.
