Some staff work 10 hour days, which is fine; however, these same people stop seeing patients at 1430 hours. So what are they doing for the rest of their shift, cruising the internet? The physicians also stop seeing patients at 1430! The staff refer patients to Friday when other busy regular staff have to now juggle extra patients. I suppose administration doesn't know about this. I bet a certain Congressman will find out.
I would like to give a big thank you to Walter who helped my father in Prosthetics Department. Helpful and thoughtful. If everyone at that VA office worked as hard as Walter it would be a great place to deal with.
I didn't like my most recent experience based on what happened this morning. So i called the VA about upper chest spasms i have had for the last few days. This is not a normal thing for me. Even after starting to work out again after back surgery i didn't have this issue. So they had a nurse call me who eventually said go to the ER at william beaumont. I moved here from Fort Worth and have not had my medical needs met. I wish I never moved here. Dallas VA is much better.
Worse VA ever! They're system is always down when you need to get a password reset there's always a new excuse on why they cannot assist you! My Husband has PTSD we've been calling the VA to make sure that when he gets in, he can reset his password but of course they system was down again! This has been going on for a month already!
El Paso VA employees, are just there to collect a paycheck. They do not care if veterans are help with their needs or not. I been trying to set up an appointment with the TBI clinic for months with no success. They do not cooperate when you ask them to work with your schedule, and if you dont agree to what they say, they just dont schedule you. Thanks for the service provided EP VA!
I love the VA because they have kept my life going with my PTSD treatment and my doctor makes me motivated to exercise more to help with my stress and muscle aches and arthritis. My meds are helping me cope and I love my Sleep Apnea machine and so does my wife with my snoring.
