I was here for a conference and paid for an upgrade. Didn't receive the upgrade, but no one told me, so when I got to my room, I then spent 30 min on the phone trying to get my money back. The general manager promised my additional money spent would be refunded, but nothing happened (the phone calls are recorded so I know there's a record). At the end of the trip, was charged $25/day for the resort fees though I'd already paid the resort fees in advance (by booking with Hilton!). Guess what? I've stayed at this Hilton 7 years in a row for the same work event. The service has declined. David's Reataurant messed up our orders two days in a row. The refrigerator in our room didn't work. They replaced it with another that barely kept things cold. One day, we had been out of the room from 8:45 am until a little after 5 pm,but the room was never cleaned. It was great! The environment was lively and at the same time peaceful. We had fun. I couldn't get out of the water.

We decided to come to Orlando last minute for a weekend getaway. We booked our room over the phone and was quoted a specific price with taxes. However, upon checking out we paid way more than what was advise via the phone. Apparently it is not in their policy to disclose additional fees prior to purchasing the room over the phone. Fees such as a marketing fee, resort charge fee, and self parking fee. The refused to help us at the hotel.
