Sent a message for a quote 4 days ago with no reply. Rang them today no answer so left a message to call still no reply. Wanted to give a local company business since I live In Hampton Park however no response is no way to run a business. Very disappointed ☹️

We had Totally Outdoors do our pergola, but wouldn't have if I had my time again. Premium price but not the quality delivered. very poor customer service, broken commitments, and more hassle than you need. If you'd like more detail pm me

This is a family business that prides itself in the quality of its work. We'd never undertaken any kind of building works before so were a bit nervous about not screwing up. It took around 8 months to finally be able to have our pergola constructed. This was due to our new apartment not being finished. Totally Outdoors worked seamlessly with us to have the materials delivered and craned to the site well ahead of any chance to build our louver roof. They kept up up to date with all the stakeholders in the project, permits, engineers, project mangers and workplace requirements. Is it just me or has anyone else had problems in getting responses to emails sent to this company?? They have taken our deposit and when we have not proceeded with them they claim that we have a signed contract and under the terms and conditions of this they dont need to refund the deposit as it went towards expenses to date. When asked for a copy of contract that they claim to have with us they have not been able to provide us a copy. Is the next step the Department of Fair trading / VCAT?????
