We had to make last minute arrangements for San Antonio and found the Drury Plaza. Great atmosphere in 1929 bank building. A direct entrance to the Riverwalk and eaxy walks to the Alamo and other attractions were excellent. Also has a 23rd floor rooftop pool and hot tubs. Plus an above average breakfast and evening happy hour. I'd stay there again.

RecommendedI was extremely impressed with this hotel. I stay in many hotels across the country for work and this one really stood out to me. Every employee I encountered said hi and asked how I was, how my stay had been, how the food was, etc. The dinner and breakfast was also really good. I will be using this hotel again for sure!
Overall, nice. Ups: Very good value. Comfortable bed, large room, nicely updated, convenient location. Downs: Awkward, cramped bathroom/dressing area configuration. Nowhere to sit outdoors except around the pool, and that area doesn't open until 9 a.m. Harsh lighting and loud TVs dominate the lounge/dining area. Nazi bartending policy would not allow me to order a cocktail for my husband, who was sitting at a table 50 feet away on an important phone call, whereas servers were carting cocktails to others in the lounge. Kinda disappointed, the first visit with drury in suites was in Tallahassee but visiting the frisco location was kinda disappointing. The rooms were ok. The floors were not that clean. And also I request for a crib. Never got it! We stayed for 3 days two nights. First night I asked for a crib, they said they were out. In my reservation notes I requested for a crib. And also called them several hours before requesting so I can put the baby to sleep since we checked in at night. But they were out.they said the second night the... read more

Had a great visit. This place is my third visit to this location and I’ve always had a pleasant stay. The staff are friendly and if you need anything they see to it right away.
Great hotel. Cleans rooms, good beds and pillows, plenty of hot water as and good shower head. Good breakfast. Would stay again.
RecommendedThe drury hotels are hands down the best hotels you can find for a great rate! Everywhere I travel I look for a drury! The staff was very friendly and more than helpful especially Kim we got in late and she was quick to get us checked in and on our way to a great stay. Our room was great and very clean I will definitely be staying here next time I visit!
