Great Family Hotel!!! Just stayed there for 3days,2 nights on the 18th floor and we loved it! Rooms were clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, snacks, alcoholic drinks for adults and Dinner! Yes Dinner! We have a family of 5 so it was great! We easily spend about $50 per meal well we didn't have to spend that extra cash!! There's 2 swimming pools! We could not have been happier with our stay! I felt that the staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable! Standouts were Victoria, Karen, Annette, and Derrick. Our request for adjoining rooms was accommodated. The breakfast was amazing and featured a wide variety of food that was constantly replenished. We stayed and love every bit of it. It's a beautiful hotel that holds history. Rooms were beyond awesome. The shower was the BEST part, I didn't want to get out. Wonderful food!! We will be visiting again!!!
We had a amazing time when we stayed here! Annette during the happy hour was amazing! Her drinks were the best! Loved her she was so friendly! Find her and get in her line and try her Spanish tequila sunrise!! It's amazing! Going to have to go back just to get another one and learn how to make it! The beds are so comfortable! Everyone was so nice and helpful to us. Great location. They give you a card with the number and location so if you are and get lost they will come get you! So great!
DISGUSTING!!!! BED BUGS!!!!i stayed here with my daughter a few weeks ago and we were horrified to find our bed was infested with bed bugs!!!! We had to throw away hundreds of dollars of personal items because they were contaminted. One of the maintenance men was so rude and acted like I was such a pain in the neck for complaining. He told me bed bug stories as if it is a normal thing to have there. The cleaning crew should be checking daily for these things when they change the linens. Beautiful hotel at the end of the Riverwalk. So much history in this hotel. We stayed in a 2 room accessible terrace suite (12th floor room 1255) in the San Fernando Tower. Had I known more about the San Fernando Cathedral, I would have asked for a view of that instead of the Riverwalk view. Still.. we had a nice view of the Tower Life building and the Tower of the Americas. It was very pretty at night and interesting to people watch in the mornings if we had time. This hotel will not let you have a room if you don't have a credit or debit card to put down for incidentals. So if I as a free American citizen, choose not to do business with visa/MasterCard or whomever. And I choose to only use cash. I can not stay at this location. I'm almost positive this isn't legal. My American cash states on the front that it is legal tender for ALL debts, PUBLIC and private.
