Love the am experience. Great staff. Great breakfast...the resturant desk -'Honor' was quite helpful. Great time here...2 more days
Went here yesterday on my birthday and did not get served. Ordered drinks from a server watched several other tables get drinks and not us. 20 minutes had passed so we just left. I work SIN and am very understanding, but this was obviously a situation of snobbery based on appearance. Called the front desk and got passed around and disconnected several times. I have been here before and really enjoyed it, which is why I decided to come on my birthday. Clearly something has changed here.
The Driskill has to be the worst bar in Austin. We waited about 30 minutes for our drinks tonight before getting fed up and walking out, after watching several people who came in after us get served. Not to mention how rude and unhelpful the front desk people were after I called to file a complaint. I'm sorry my girlfriend and I aren't your "ideal" clientele, but I will take my business other places than this snob fest in the future.

Myself being in hospitality for the last 20 years, it is at times hard to disengage and not critique. I was put at ease the entire time with the Driskill's ever accommodating staff that helped us have an awesome time each step of the way! We will return, thank you!
