Gorgeous hotel and lovely restaurant...food, drinks and desert were great and very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Such sweet nice people. And the place is historic! Very elegant and so well preserved. An absolute must see when visiting this great city of Austin.

Awesome place. It has the best food and the nicest workers... And it is right in the middle of the all the nightlife action. Be careful, you may never want to leave.
After hearing that LBJ took Lady Bird there for their first date, we decided to walk in & have a look. It is very beautiful even the restrooms. We went upstairs & just took in all the beautiful paintings, columns, floors, marble work etc. Did not eat there. The girl at the entrance welcomed us & told us to enjoy. One of the highlights of our trip to Austin...and it is free.

Stayed for 5 nghts. Great location and decor. Old world meets new world. The building is class is all ways. Luxury rooms and great bar. Music every evening with happy hour.
The customer service was great and I had an issue at a previous hotel and The Driskill was able to accommodate me with an early check-in and I was able to enjoy the rest of my stay in Austin. Thanks 😃🙏🏼
