We absolutely loved it! The hotel staff was impeccable! The wait staff left a little to be desired! Especially in cafe 1886. The waitress in the bar and grill area made up for it! We stayed in the yellow rose suite it was amazing. The turn down service is some thing to request if you go! We are planning on going back really soon!

Horrible waited for ever at lunch for stupid little salad and their werer NO choices other than that for a vegetarian! Sad!
I enjoy the historical nature of the hotel. I think the food, drinks and the crowd there is amazing.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but I sure visited the bar: world class Dry Martinis. For sure.
This place is beautiful! The front desk staff is super friendly. The hospitality service is awesome. Our room was beautiful and always clean! The 1886 cafe has amazing food! The location is right within reach of so much! We definitely want to stay here again when we visit next time! The only reason why I couldn't give it a 5, is because every day and night, (but especially during the day when it wasn't crowded) the Driskill bar smells like puke. I'm assuming it's the carpet... might be time for a change.
We stayed one night and were blown away by the customer service and hospitality. We requested to not be by the elevator when we booked our room and through some miscommunication we were placed right by the elevator. We decided to stay put but the staff paid for 2 of our meals and refunded the upgrade we paid for. We were very grateful for that and did not expect that kind of service! Just stayed there Friday night Oct 27th for my 60th birthday. Wanted the Primrose room 528, 600 sqft with a balcony. They said it was a two night minimum so since I only needed one night I agreed to room 428, 400 sqft with a balcony. When we checked in they upgraded us to the Primrose room 528 at the same rate for the smaller room and we were treated like royalty!! Best experience ever... I will be coming back!!
