Favorite watering hole in Austin. 5 Stars. Everyone should visit.
We did not stay in the hotel but went for breakfast to the cafe.I thought the breakfast was ok but not great what I would expected, staff was nice enough but wouldn’t go back for breakfast .There are better places for way less money.

This hotel is like a museum and you feel so much history once you enter. Bar is great, and if you want a neat place to meet with friends try this place. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Lobby staff is really great to talk to. I spoke to the concierge Christie Johnson on Sat. June 1. She was so pleasant and gracious. The hotel is lucky to have her on board.
Just ok. Way overpriced for the room we had. Austin hotels in general are pricey, but c’mon man. Bar was nice, but disappointing. The cocktail guy was slow and rudely told us that the tables were “table service only” when I ordered from the bar. We let him know that we waited for 15 minutes, without a sighting of him. I ordered an old fashioned, it was close, but not a good drink. They used cheap, crappy cherries and charged $13. Front desk staff were friendly. Bed sucked, shower sucked, pillows sucked.
