Beautiful interior! Wait staff was attentive. Food was excellent.
Had breakfast at the Driskill on a Saturday morning and we waited over 20min for a table even though half the restaurant was empty. I ordered the avocado toast, it was delicious. My friend ordered the fried chicken and it was inedible. It was dry and impossible to cut. The coffee was ok. I would probably not eat here again since the prices were very high for what we had. They do have a bakery you can purchase bread and coffee at without dining in. Also the service was very slow. Not a problem if you have time.
We had the burger & fries. It was delicious. Great atmosphere & food with complimentary music. Definitely a place I love to visit when I’m in Austin �
Beautiful, rich with character, lots of energy, great food and service, romantic, unlike the typical hotel.

First class hotel. Very different from any other place I have been. The bakery had the best cup of cappuccino I have ever had.
Love to stay there one day ! Had a few drinks at the bar and it was very impressive! Had the battini and it was very refreshing ! The Driskill is our new tradition when visiting Austin we will ALWASY start there for a few drinks ! Love Austin ! Thank you Driskill . Your new friends from Corpus Christi Texas !
Service was awesome. Then again Hyatt never disappoints me with that. Sweet historic hotel. Only two complaints are size of the room and the elevator. It’s an old building so ya I get that. Can’t beat the location!
Love the Driscoll but 1886 was closed! Disappointed!
