It has been my favorite from the time I lived there till the times I now have to visit Austin. I have been going there for 40 years now.
Great Service, Great Food, beautiful Historic Hotel!
Beautiful hotel. Good drinks in the lounge. Some of the seating is a bit uncomfortable. We enjoyed the evening and the live music.

Lovely hotel and very pleasant staff. The biggest ding was the difficulty in parking due to a all the construction in the area and the fact that the price of their valet parking is extremely outrageous.
Amazing Hotel, great memories, sad part is, great room in the historical part of hotel, we had no visitor's (aka ghost), the other bad part was our bed, we were told king size, ended up with a queen, and the Pillows were very very firm, most likely they were SHAMS IN A PILLOW CASE. and the mattress was a little rough, hard, but that could be blamed on queen not king size....... Amazing vaulted ceilings, increatable detail wood work though out our room and hotel it's self. Attention to DETAIL WAS WONDERFUL.
Amazing place. Right on 6th street and close to everything. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Don't waste your time going to a Marriott. Can't wait to come back.
