The hotel itself is beautiful. Service in the bar area was mediocre. (In their defense, I think we may have caught them during a shift change.) Both girls working were very sweet, service was just a bit slow. We had ordered food and a few minutes later the girl came back and said, "oh, we don't have that right now, we only have this limited menu. I love The Driskill! First time we are there! But I like so much ! The service is very nice ! The room wow amazing , I recommend 100% ! We come back in Augost
I have always loved going to the Driskill, but customer beware. I have been a waiter for 20 years, so when I order a glass of champagne, that does not mean Chimay (what I received first), then she brought me a $25 glass of chapagne. Like a fool I did not check my bill as I was with my childhood friend and. Kticed it a few days later when doing my bills. I actually thought I was paying for the entire bill. May I recommend to the Driskill waiters and bartenders to please show the menu or telling someone the price, not just ass... read more
