It is such a beautiful place! Everyone was so kind and attentive as soon as we arrived. The room was gorgeous and very well clean. We ordered in room dinning and it was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back for future stays. They have a place for weddings which beautiful. I definitely wouldn't mind getting married here. ❤
Had a fabulous and tasty breakfast at the 1886 Cafe and Bakery. If you haven't tired it yet, your missing out. Aye Mira!!
Love it here. Always stay here. Don't get me wrong , there's some things that could be updated ... but the rich history and friendly staff easily makes up for it .

Fantastic hotel in a prime location with old warm charm and great people. 1886 Cafe and Driskill Bar were both great experiences.
Stayed there for Anniversary celebration. Suite was amazing. Driskill Grill is an amazing restaurant. Our waiter was one of the best I ever encountered. The chef even came out to discuss our meal. I will come back again.
The driskill was everything and more than what we expected. The art inside was unbelievable. We literally ordered everything on the room service menu at 1 am and it was delicious. A wonderful place for an anniversary.
I have stayed numerous times and will stay more because of the convenience to the Capitol. Service has been excellent, yes there has been noise at times, but it is Austin... I will continue to use the Driskill both professionally and personally. Thanks
We were delighted by The Driskill Hotel what an adventure, WELL worth the price. Texas has several immaculately restored hotels that are worth a vacation just going from historic hotel to historic hotel. God bless Texas.
