Friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail is second to none. This was the second surgery with Dr. Looby. He does an amazing job.
Dr Looby and the orthopedic institute and the Sioux Falls specialty hospital are absolutely top notch.
Dr. Looby and his entire staff were outstanding. He took the time to explain my options for less invasive treatment and ultimately the full hip joint replacement. I appreciated the fact he wasn't wanting to rush to surgery but was willing to explore and explain all the options. When we did decide on the total hip joint replacement, he took the time to explain the procedure and what the future would look like....I could resume my physical activities including running. My daughter had an ACL repair and Meniscus Surgery following a gymnastics injury 10 months ago. I could not be happier with the entire experience with Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Looby is clearly an expert Orthopedic Surgeon and his staff including PA, Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist are too. My daughters surgery went very well and her rehab has progressed nicely too. Dr. Peter Looby is the only Orthopedic Doctor I would care to see due to his concern for the person themself. Dr. Looby is an awesome doctor and I will always request his office for medical care - (he fixed my knee years ago-before internet history)-Dr. Looby is the best-no hands down. Oh yeah-Thank you Dr. Looby for better health. It is never forgotten.
Dr. Looby and his staff took great care of my son. He was late for the first appointment but on time for the next. Each time we were given the time needed to get our questions answered. We were not rushed at all. He was very thorough and explained everything well. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Dr. Looby and staff are all very helpful and kind. He was not forceful about having surgery but suggested other alternatives first. That allowed me to function for a couple more years before going under the knife. When I did have to have surgery, my healing time was quicker with less pain than my past experiences with other doctor's. I would recommend Dr. Looby to anyone!
I had a great experience with Dr Looby and staff! They were the best!
I appreciated that he did not recommend surgery the first time I seen him about two years ago which meant to me that he is not in it just for the money. When I went to see him this last summer he told me my knee was bad and if it was affecting my lifestyle I should get the knee replaced and it was doing just that so now it’s done.
